Tronçay forest (not to be confused with Tronçais forest in the Allier) once depended on the Châtellenie of Champallement belonging to the Counts, then to the Dukes, of Nevers since 1476. This private forest is located on Saint-Révérien and Vitry-Lâche municipalities.

Châtillon forest once depended on the Châtellenie de Monceaux-le-Comte belonging to the Dukes of Nevers since the 17th century. This former ducal forest was located on Germenay and Dirol municipalities.
