International Day of Forests 2023 – Charlois Foundation for Art and Forests

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in celebration of the International Day of Forests, the exhibition spaces of the Charlois Foundation will be exceptionally open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Proclaimed in 2012 by the United Nations General Assembly, this day dedicated to forests aims to highlight the value of trees and wood and to raise awareness about sustainable management and the environmental role of forests.

These themes perfectly align with the missions of the Charlois Foundation for Art and Forests, and we are excited to help you (re)discover them as we come together to celebrate this day in honor of forests and their priceless treasures!

Highlights of the Day:

Explore the collections of the Charlois Foundation and the b(ART)ique exhibition, showcasing a selection of artworks created by contemporary artists on barrels and barrel lids.

Tour the workshops of the La Grange cooperage.
