The Atlas indicates that the Bois Dieu, containing 207 arpents and 63 perches, was divided in 3 cuts, that the Lacs de Ligny, containing 180 arpents and 60 perches, were divided in 3 cuts, that the Montas and Barnon woods were grouped in 1 cut containing 57 arpents and 38 perches and that Bois Devant and Sury were grouped in 1 cut containing 49 arpents and 16 perches. Those forests, grouped to the other forests of the Châtellenie of Montenoison (Charmée de Nion, Bois de Mauboux, Petit Ratilly and Grand Ratilly), were “divided in 18 cuts started in 1789” and sold in Nevers for local consumption.
