Created in 2000 by Alain Laurens with Daniel Dufour, cabin designer, and Ghislain André, master guild joiner who directs the workshop, La Cabane Perchée® settled near Apt in the Vaucluse, makes more than 30 tree houses per year in France and worldwide. First cabin builder in France, the company has made 500 tree houses in France but also in Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Denmark, United States and Russia. Each tree house is unique since the host tree dictates available space and design.
