Murlanium
Since the mid-17th century, local activities and traditions have firmly anchored Charlois in Murlin, at the heart of the Bertranges Forest. This strong territorial attachment has led the Company to develop several projects within this wooded village of the Nivernais region. Charlois notably created an exhibition space supported by the Charlois Fund for Art and the Forest, highlighting cultural heritage and contemporary creation. Several monumental works have been and will be installed in the heart of Murlin to enhance and strengthen the village’s attractiveness, in continuity with the Group’s initiatives for the municipality (undergrounding of power lines, new public lighting, restoration of the church’s stained-glass windows, etc.). These various projects are part of a broader approach to developing sylvotourism and œnotourism.
