Charlois Group and the Origine France Garantie certification

For many years, Charlois Group has been committed to a constant approach based on traceability. Accordingly, Charlois Group has obtained the certification ORIGINE FRANCE GARANTIE since December 2013 for its stave mills, its cooperages, its oak products for oenology and its oak tank workshop.
The Origine France Garantie certification was created in June 2010, following the publication of Yves Jégo’s report on the French country brand, written at the request of Nicolas Sarkozy.
The certification, simple and understandable by all, is the result of a collective approach of actors who wish to collaborate in order to promote the fabrication of products in France and the valorization of the industrial and artisan know-how.
The Origine France Garantie certification is the only certification that guarantees the French origin of a product. It is transversal (includes all sectors) and unquestionable (the mandatory product certification is held by an independent certifier).
By giving a clear and objective indication of a product’s origin, the Origine France Garantie certificate ensures consumers a full product traceability.
