During the 2018 Vinitech trade show edition, the Groupe Charlois invited Sébastien Geslin to share his passion and his unique know-how on its stand. During the 2018 Vinitech trade show edition, the Groupe Charlois invited Sébastien Geslin to share his passion and his unique know-how on its stand. In a “guinguette chic” atmosphere designed by the Groupe Charlois, the optical designer welcomes visitors to discover his premium quality wood frames. Sébastien Geslin manufactures his wood frames in a process including more than 250 steps of production. The craftsman uses different species of wood, from beech to walnut and morta (fossil oak from Brière). Sébastien Geslin specially designs for the Groupe Charlois a frame manufactured with oak staves from its historical stave mill in Murlin (Nièvre). To ensure robustness of his frames, laminated wood is strengthened with carbon fiber. An ingenious system, created by the designer, allows everyone to adjust the frame width to its morphology: the S-Temp®. Single and customizable, Sébastien Geslin’s wood frames are intended for amateurs of beautiful glasses for optimized comfort.
