We are pleased to announce the creation of the TONNELLERIE DES CLOS brand, 100% Burgundy, from oak to craftsmanship.

 

The very name Clos evokes a journey. A journey through the vineyards of Burgundy. A journey through history, back to the time when monks crafted wine. Clos refers to the dry-stone walls that enclose plots of land producing some of the finest nectars in the world. These famous Clos benefit from a unique terroir, shaped by a microclimate, soil composition, and sun exposure.

 

Clos are synonymous with prestigious wines—high-quality vintages found under renowned appellations such as Grand Cru and Premier Cru. These wines are complex, refined, and celebrated for their aging potential. Each Clos tells a unique story through its distinctive wines.

 

Clos wines are made by passionate artisans, for passionate connoisseurs. They embody traditional viticulture and winemaking methods, with meticulous attention paid to every step—from soil cultivation to barrel aging and bottling.

 

Founded by Charlois in 2024, TONNELLERIE DES CLOS pays tribute to terroir, tradition, expertise, and the dedication of winemakers. Through a range of 100% Burgundian oak barrels, crafted exclusively from stave wood sourced from the prestigious forests of Burgundy and produced in its workshop in Marsannay, Charlois brings its full expertise to TONNELLERIE DES CLOS. The goal: to offer barrels that enhance the creation of great wines with the utmost finesse, while respecting the integrity of the wine.
