Shiraz SA association gathers producers of South African Shiraz. The organization is devoted to creating an awareness for the superior wines in the region through several events about Shiraz international trends and developments providing consumers with the opportunity to get acquainted with this noble variety.

Shiraz SA association gathers producers of South African Shiraz. The organization is devoted to creating an awareness for the superior wines in the region through several events about Shiraz international trends and developments providing consumers with the opportunity to get acquainted with this noble variety.

As part of these exchanges, they organized a technical workshop on last November 14 in Paarl – Western Cape.

Several speakers have animated the conference. The highly anticipated performance of expert of wine aromas Alexandre Schmitt, consultant for Groupe Charlois for almost 4 years, was particularly appreciated. His conference on the theme « The aromas of Syrah – Spicy, floral and fruity notes » caught the attention of the 130 guests for nearly 2 hours of exchanges, questions and tasting.
