As part of the International Day of Forests, Groupe Charlois is partner of the immersive operation organized by the ONF (Office National des Forêts) which will take place on 21/22/23 March 2019 on the forecourt of the City Hall in Paris.

As part of the International Day of Forests, Groupe Charlois is partner of the immersive operation organized by the ONF (Office National des Forêts) which will take place on 21/22/23 March 2019 on the forecourt of the City Hall in Paris.

For three days, the Office Nationale des Forêts will celebrate the world of the forest. A large-scale operation aiming to enhance and describe the different trades related to French public forests. An exceptional framework for an educational program allowing to rediscover ecological initiatives, climate or replanting actions for the planet. All in an exclusive Immersive Journey.

On this occasion, Groupe Charlois, the largest purchaser and processor of oaks in France, a long-time partner of the ONF, will be presenting to the public its trades and activities related to the production of oaks in France and around the world through several clusters:

– A Cabane Perchée®, placed in monumental totem 12 meters high.

– A special space for its French brand « La Chênaie », natural cosmetics cares with vegetal oak extract.

– A barrel demonstration by its best coopers.

– In a projection dome, an immersive film in the forest will invite the visitor to discover the treasures of the French forests thanks to the work of foresters and particularly those of the ONF.

The tree house and La Chênaie space will be reassembled on the historic site of the Groupe Charlois in Murlin, in the heart of the Bertranges forest, for a second life.

Just hearing her first name is enough to bring back the catchy Saïan Supa Crew hit released in the summer of 1999. Angela Teixeira has been part of the Tonnellerie Berthomieu Ermitage team since 2007 and will officially retire on August 1. A new chapter now begins, one she will enjoy alongside her husband, Gérard.
