As part of the ongoing structuring of our governance, David Le Gac has been appointed as Industrial Director of OAK NATION, effective January 1, 2023. Oak Nation, a subsidiary of the Charlois Group, encompasses a comprehensive range of professions from forest management to winemaking, including:Forestry, Sawmilling, Stave-making, Cooperage and large vat production, Recycling and repurposing used oak barrels, Manufacturing oak products for oenology, Transport and logistics, Engineering, Role and Responsibilities.

In his new role, David will oversee and coordinate the primary and secondary oak transformation sectors, ensuring:

Industrial performance

Quality standards for the barrels and vats produced by the group.

A Seasoned Expert

With 25 years of experience in the sector, David has worked with several leading groups, gaining expertise across the entire value chain—from forestry to stave-making and cooperage.

His passion, deep material knowledge, and comprehensive vision of the transformation process will enable him to:

Support the adaptation and optimization of the group’s production workshops.

Envision and implement innovations for future development projects.
