As the global spirits industry navigates a phase of inventory rebalancing, CHARLOIS announces significant new investments through OAKING, its integrated cask management platform

Several historical sources confirm that Eugène Charlois (son, grandson, brother and nephew of stave splitters) began his wood-making business in Murlin in 1928.

In the treatment of a regular high forest, the trees are educated in a stand of the same age and of similar dimensions. The exploitation concerns all the stands of a given plot when its regeneration is programmed.

The third postcard of the series « The forest in Nivernais » features a group of three women weighed down with dead wood. The photograph was taken in Beaumont-la-Ferrière, a village bordering the Bertranges forest.
